Vermont Arts Council (VAC), one of VDW's clients, has been recognized as one of the leading grant contributors to independent artists in the state of Vermont.
The VAC "is one of the state's only grant-making organizations for artists." The organization has committed to distributing approximately $665,000 in grants to arts organizations and individuals this year alone. These funds help artists working in a variety of genres throughout the state do things such as rent performance spaces, learn new techniques and work in new art mediums, or attend workshops.
